South Bay Lexus is a proud supporter of the Peninsula Education Foundation. The Peninsula Education Foundation was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned parents who saw major programs like music, PE, and other critical learning programs cut due to a change in school funding. Beginning with a leadership gift of $50,000 from Kenneth T. and Eileen L. Norris Foundation, PEF continues into its 41 years as one of the oldest and most respected education foundations in the nation. The purpose of PEF was to raise money to maintain, provide and enhance vital programs in the PVPUSD after drastic changes to California State funding to all public schools occurred in the 1970s. Since then, there has been a significant gap between what PVUSD receives from the state and what it takes to educate the approximately 11,500 students in the district. PEF seeks to bridge this gap.
The Main Event is Palos Verdes Peninsula’s biggest fundraiser of the year, which will be held at Southern California’s premier luxury destination Terranea Resort. The amazing night will feature entertainment by the ever-popular Neil Diamond tribute band, Super Diamond! Enjoy an incredible evening of cocktails, dinner, dancing, and the much-anticipated silent and live auctions.

South Bay Lexus is proud to support and is sponsoring Team Triumph, in the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Students of the Year Campaign. The Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program for exemplary high school students. This nationwide, 7-week campaign, fosters the development of professional skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management in the candidates and their teams, in order to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
These students, led by Kylie Mone and Alaina Wonder, are on a mission to be the last generation to be affected by cancer. Having all been touched by cancer in some way, they have partnered with The Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS), the global leader in cancer research, presently funds 300 active research projects, and has helped more than 55,000 families afford lifesaving treatment. Team Triumph will be fundraising through various efforts including hosting The South Bay Art & Writing Contest on March 5, 2022, this event is open to all ages, with a community reception at Indivisble Arts in Hermose Beach. South Bay Lexus is honored to support our local Girl Scout, Kaia, to achieve her goals. Kaia is 8 years old and a second-year Brownie. Kaia says, “Selling Girl Scout Cookies has taught me to work as a team to set our troop goals for cookie season. With our cookie earnings, my troop and I plan activities year-round and do important things to help our community. With this year’s cookie earnings, we will have fun activities, earn new badges, and help charities.”
