This event was a 10K/5K race held by Rolling Hills City Hall to support The Pepper Tree Foundation. The Pepper Tree Foundation is focused on the upkeep of city parks and thrives on donations and city events such as “The Hills Are Alive” race.

South Bay Lexus is a proud supporter of Peninsula Education Foundation. Peninsula Education Foundation was founded in 1979 by a group of concerned parents who saw major programs like music, PE, and other critical learning programs cut due to a change in school funding. Beginning with a leadership gift of $50,000 from the Kenneth T. and Eileen L. Norris Foundation, PEF continues into its 40th year as one of the oldest and most respected education foundations in the nation. The purpose of PEF was to raise money to maintain, provide and enhance vital education programs in the PVPUSD after drastic changes to California State funding to all public schools occurred in the 1970s. Since then, there has been a significant gap between what PVPUSD receives from the state and what it takes to educate the approximately 11,500 students in the district. PEF seeks to bridge this gap.

South Bay Lexus is honored to support the PCCH in their efforts of Hope and Health. This event benefits the Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital (PCCH). Peninsula Committee Peninsula Hospital (PCCH) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that raises money for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Founded in 1957 when a group of women from the South Bay were asked to help generate funds for a new recovery unit at CHLA, PCCH has grown to more than 170 South Bay families who volunteer all year long with the shared goal of helping the kids who need it most. The committee sponsors the Portuguese Bend National Horse Show in early September, as well as the Seahorse Classic golf tournament in the spring. Over the past 60 years, PCCH has donated over 17 million dollars to CHLA. CHLA is dedicated to creating hope and building healthier futures for children. Founded in 1901, CHLA is one of the nation’s leading pediatric academic medical centers and is acknowledged worldwide for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. The hospital relies on the generosity of the community to support its groundbreaking pediatric research and the complex care it provides for critically ill and injured children.
