A handful of SBL employees volunteered to help pass out toys at the Community’s Child Christmas Event. Community’s Child hosts an annual Christmas Party for families in need in our community who would otherwise go without gifts for Christmas. Employee’s volunteered their time at the gift boutique, where parents would pick out a gift for their children. Some employees volunteered their time handing out coats for the children.

South Bay Lexus was a Gold Sponsor for the Long Beach Symphony Golf Classic. Along with a full day of golf, the event ended with a raffle and a live auction. All proceeds go to helping enrich children’s life with music classes and field trips to the symphony. South Bay Lexus also provided all display vehicles for the tournament, included the Hole-In-One RX350 display vehicle.

Britax is a company that specializes in car seats and strollers, and has been leading the child safety technology industry for over 70 years. Britax has invited Lexus to collaborate on turning Lexus dealerships into installation/demonstration centers for a half day. South Bay Lexus was proud to participate in this event that touched on key points in the proper way to install a car seat and signs to look for when it is time to replace a car seat. Britax timed this event to introduce their new Endeavour car seat to line up with Child Passenger Safety Week (September 17-23, 2017). Thank you to the Britax team for letting us share in this event.

This event was a 10k/5k race held by Rolling Hills city hall to support the Pepper Tree Foundation. The Pepper Tree Foundation is focused on the upkeep of city parks and thrives on donations and city events such as ‘The Hills Are Alive” race.

South Bay Lexus is honored to support the PCCH in their efforts of Hope and Health. This event benefits the Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital (PCCH). South Bay Lexus proudly provided the “Hole-in-One” vehicle for this event. The PCCH was founded in 1957 by a small group of South Bay area women committed to raising the necessary money for a new recovery unit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The committee has grown since that time to more than 170 volunteer families and raised more than $14 million in contributions for Children’s Hospital, L.A.

One of our employees, Amber Kirby was awarded as a member of the 1% club for her outstanding DMV skills with AVRS (the system we use to process all vehicles sold with the DMV). Through Ambers accurate, detail-oriented and conscientious work she achieved less than 1% error rate with all vehicle processing for a period of four consecutive months. South Bay Lexus Dealership was awarded a plaque for Ambers incredible work as well.
South Bay Lexus generously provided the Hole-In-One vehicle as well as sponsorship of the event. All proceeds from the golf tournament benefit The Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach.

Congratulations to all South Bay Lexus employees who completed The Great Chocolate Race this past weekend in Long Beach! The 5k finishers: Melinda Severtson, Angie Gonzalez, Nancy Gonzalez, Amber Kirby, Jennifer Belaskas & Martha Gallardo. And 10 Mile race finisher: Sean Slwani. Thank you also to the Volunteer Team who spent the morning making sure the race “ran” smooth: Melissa Ong, Mariah Medina & Katie Gilkey. All proceeds from race benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
A group of South Bay Lexus Employees will be participating as a team. You can run or walk either the 10 mile or the 5k course. All proceeds of this event to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. South Bay Lexus is Exclusive Automotive Sponsor. A group of employees just returned from visiting Community’s Child facility. To date SBL had a very successful food drive for them and a group of us volunteered for their annual Christmas Party. They invited us to visit their shelter for women & children, during which time we presented them with a donation.
